The Pec municipality risks losing about 300 acres [300 ha]

About 300 hectares of land found in the city and villages of Peja are in danger of being stripped of this municipality's ownership and sold by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency.

These lands have been of the former agricultural plants and the former Industrial Agricultural Nation in Pec, which, with a decision adopted in May 2010 by the Municipal District of Pec, have been passed by the municipality today, writes Koha Ditore.

This decision of seven years ago, the Kosovo Privatisation Agency (AKP) is countering it with the indictment filed against the Pec municipality in order to abolish that decision. AKP spokesman Ylli Kaloshi says the Peja Community has had no right to pass those lands in its possession.
