Meteorologists say that this phenomenon is caused by sand that the storms of the Sahara Desert carry as far as Europe, where snow and rain mix.
This is once in five years, but this time the concentration of sand is much higher than the dye of snow. Even people from affected lands say that they have felt the grains of sand in their mouth.
One of the most affected areas by the orange snow phenomenon was Sochi's tourist resort from which skiers and vacationers sent endless photos and videos of the unusual scene.
