Mitrovica citizen makes HIV Agents' test public

A citizen of Mitrovica has been stigmatized, making the HIV Aids test public. It has been exposed to the results of tests on the window of one of the most frequent sports at the Microbiology lab at the Kosovo National Public Health Institute (IKSHK). Although information about the diagnosis and state of health of patients is confidential and protected by law, there is about a month that this confidence is openly violated in the facilities of this Institute of University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK) in Pristina.
A patient who had sent his samples for analysis to the IKSHK Microbiology lab had encountered such a phenomenon for three days. On the third day of her trip (during this week), she had received some images of the laboratory's sports in question, at the time medical personnel had not yet gone to work (H 7:30).
In the photo you see the result of HIV Aids analysis that was almost adjacent to the window. It clearly notes the patient's personal data as well as the result of the test on February 5, 2018. This information, along with the footage, has been conveyed to the news.net.
Asked (by our journalist) about the exposure of the patient's analysis results in KKUK sports windows, one of the doctors at this centre has said that such a thing is impossible.
“Patients go on their own to search for results under the term given to them... It may be that one of them is late to receive those results, so such exposure may have occurred, even though the diagnosis release is prohibited”, he said.
However, despite that, the Health Ministry (MSH) has taken care of informing patients of their rights. It has placed everywhere in QKUK's environment instructions and regulations that provide detailed information on mutual obligations and rights, both for medical staff and patients. Such an announcement is found in the microbiology laboratory in IKSHPK. Even in front of this lab's sports, “Patient Rights Card”
Point 6 of this card contains “privacy and privacy permissions”, specifying as follows: “Every citizen has the right to privacy of personal information, including information about his state of health and possible diagnostic or therapeutic procedures”.
Meanwhile, violating the confidence of patients by medical personnel is a sanctioned action even with the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (04/L-082), Article 1 paragraph 203.
