March 7th, Kosovo's teacher is announced

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqiri Bytyqi has shared today the annual “award Shaban Jashari” for the distinguished teacher of the year, who was divided this year to Ilmie Duman, a teacher at the school “Dardnia” in Pristina.

In this case, Minister Bytyqi congratulated March 7th on Teachers' Day all teachers of the Republic of Kosovo. March “7 is an important date of our history, because it reminds us of a continued commitment of teachers over time to educate our young people even in the most difficult times”, he said.

Minister Bytyqi stressed that this important holiday, not by chance, happened to be during the days when the KLA's Age was marked. The “Teachers, such as at any time contribute to knowledge, the day also contribute to the organisation of the liberation war and the freedom of our country. Minister Bytyqi stressed that we should continue to appreciate our teachers because they are continuing with their commitment and with a strong desire to educate our children and young people, to prepare them for a new mission - the country's development.

Speaking of this event, Minister Bytyqi said that teachers who are really more engaged should be appreciated and distinguished from others. In modern times, the teaching difference for their commitment is of value. So this must be a new standard”.
