Sources said the attacks took place in the area of a military base in the Siirt district that remained killed several security militia belonging to the Turkish Army, reports “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcast.
It is not clear when the attack occurred. State news agency “Anadolu” said four soldiers and three rural guards were also injured in the attack, which occurred in an area where road construction works were being conducted.
The PKK is designated as a terrorist group by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
The conflict mainly in southern Turkey escalates generally when spring arrives in the mountainous region.
