Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj has declared that a continued international co-operation of the Kosovo Police with police authorities of various states of the region, including Slovenia, under the assistance and co-ordination of EUROOPOL, has resulted in a successful police operation in the fight against smuggling with migrants.
“Fighting organised crime and corruption remains a priority of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. This operation shows once again Kosovo's membership in Interpol and other security organisations is necessary, and this process is not political but of operational/police importance”, it has written on Facebook.
