In early April, at the Vermica-Mine border checkpoint, Kosovo Customs with that of Albania will be done with a single administration.
Kosovo's will pass to Albania's.
This union is under way to facilitate procedures in the customs of these two countries, KTV reports.
According to Prime Minister Edi Rama's adviser, Lulzim Rafuna, the procedures for this union have ended.
Even from the Kosovo Economic Oda support this idea, but they say co-operation on both sides is needed, not just Kosovo's commitment.
Until the European Union had said there could be only one checkpoint for citizens, last year former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama agreed to place police officers from both countries in a booth together. That, however, has not yet happened.
The border checkpoint in Vermica is among the most frequent, especially in weekends and during the summer season.
