Those judges who can't handle the pressures, or the difficulties they face, can leave the system. That's what Enver Peci, the Supreme Court's Chairman, said about the Kosovo “Directorate of Justice”.
He has said the cases that are being accepted by EULEX are high profiles and are not easy, but it is the last time to prove that we are a state.
“We're accepting the cases he's had EULEX. Can we, can we just, can we just say we can't or can't? We have to admit, we're saying we're just saying state. And the last time we have to do the classes is here. Those who feel that they can't handle them feel that way being threatened by not being in the system are the last moments. Psychological pressure sometimes comes from the speaker of the assembly, perhaps even from another speaker of a different message. What is being discussed in the assembly listens to all citizens, others cases invite judges to announce the cases, because there is a reluctance by judges, there may be some pressure, but it's not being reported”, the first Supreme Court has declared.
Peci has said more vocal response of the Council is needed in cases when there is interference from politics in independence of the judiciary.
The “each under its own competencies that it needs rapidly and at times when it thinks independence is being affected the judiciary should react, no matter who is in question”, Peci said.
