After more than a decade of secrecy, Israel has confirmed that in 2007 it attacked Syria's nuclear reactor. Israeli military planes F-16 and F-15 have bombed Syrian nuclear equipment in Until Az Zor, 450km north of Damascus, in a secret operation on September 5, 6th of the year [...]
Israeli military jets F-16 and F-15 have bombed Syrian nuclear equipment in Until Az Zor, 450km north of Damascus, in a secret operation on 5 September 6, 2007.
The military operation was dubbed “out of the box”, commanded by the Israeli Army, which had banned local media from publishing the details of the operation, reports “Al Jazeera”, the Periscope broadcast.

The message from the 2007 nuclear reactor attack of Israel's state has not been available since Israel's existence was endangered,” said Israeli Army chief Gadi Eisenko.
“This was our message in 2007, this remains our message today and will continue to be our message in the near and distant future,” he added.
It is unclear why the army has decided today to share this information.
In 2011, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukia Amano, said for the first time that the target destroyed by Israeli aircraft was the secret location of a nuclear reactor.
Amano's comments rejected Syria's claims that there were no atomic secrets, and it was the first time the UN nuclear overseer spoke incorrectly about the issue./Periscopi/
