At least one person has remained dead by an armed man who is holding several hostages in a supermarket in the municipality of Trebes, south of France, Kosovo reports.
French media have reported that this person had shot at some police officers in advance, hurting one of them.
Police forces are deployed at the “supermarket Super U”, near Carcasson.
According to a prosecutor in France, the attacker has declared he belongs to the Islamic State group.
