We currently have a global epidemic of high salt consumption and high blood pressure. This research shows that there is no fraud when it comes to reducing blood pressure. NHS and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that adults eat no more than one teaspoon or six grams a day, which is easily overcome if people eat ready food.
