Periscope: Mr. Gashi, at yesterday's session you had a clash with Mr. Ramush Haradinaj over a 2014 meeting where it was discussed in the reserved countries. Haradinaj, in his address, also cited the then LDK's opposition to the Kosovo Army. Can you tell us what happened back then?
Arben Gashi: There have been several meetings, I've referred to three four meetings that have been held between Queen's countries. There have been several consecutive meetings. It has been the idea and demand since we had entered a new phase of talks with Serbia has been the proposal and request of ethnic non-Albanian groups to continue the reserved countries at least one mandate. After the LDK discussions have decided that it did not support these reserved and developing countries there have been different words and noises, but there has not been a concrete proposal regarding army creation, although I personally think that given the circumstances of the time when this debate was held, this has been the biggest decision the LDK has made following Kosovo's declaration of independence. Taking into account the situation we were in following the failure of the police operation in the northern situation led by Mr Thaci, prime minister at the time, on July 25th 2011, begins talks with the EU mediation between Kosovo and Serbia, and the idea of territorial autonomy for the Serb minority in Kosovo begins to be designed in these talks. After that, we have the April agreement in Brussels, where the formation of the Serbian municipalities' Association and competence in the trial, police on organisational issues and central representation are envisioned. So we have the tendency at that time... an additional element that needs to be taken into account, the census to participate in the 2013 local elections has been as much as 38 thousand and 280 apps have come from Serbia and over a thousand from Montenegro and it turns out we would have over 12 additional deputies with reserved seats. So we would have 22 or 23 of the Serb community, about 15 of the other communities, and we would have a disbalancing and a destruction of Kosovo on the inside. So we've made the decision not to happen this despite constant blackmail. It's something the LDK should show to citizens and be proud of.
Periscope: During the debates in the Assembly, a continuing clash of Prime Minister Haradinaj with the LDK's parliamentary group is seen. Why is this happening?
Arben Gashi: Mr Haradinaj seems to be in terms of political blackmail by coalition partners and his political situation and psychological pressure he seems to be failing. The language you are using is undignified and inappropriate for the Assembly. I publicly reject that language with Prime Minister Haradinaj. We had a crash yesterday, but it's over. In my public communication I tried to be correct.
Periscope: What about the demarcation?
Arben Gashi: It's a matter that the coalition has to solve, it's not our issue anymore.
Periscope: In the meantime, it was reported on the terms of the Serbian List and their pro-demarket vote...?
Arben Gashi: There are various speculations that the Serbian List has been calling concessions as in Trepca, in Association these should be carefully watched and if these are confirmed and not speculations then the LDK will take the right position and the right decision.
Periscope: Since Shpend Ahmeti resigned from LVV, political parties have started with their invitations. . Meanwhile, we have had a clash between LDK deputy Driton Selmanaj and Deputy Chairmans Agim Veliu over the issue. Is it open? The LDK?
Arben Gashi: I don't think there's a real and serious discussion on this issue between LDK and Mr. Ahmeti. I think that the political developments that have taken place between the LDK and Mr Ahmeti are at odds, but in the future we have to see how events will take place.
Periscope: Recently it was reported to the media about the possible divisions of LDK. How long are these reports?
Arben Gashi: I haven't noticed anything like that. There is no frustrating potential within LDK structures, I don't think it's accurate.
Periscope: Mr. Gashi, in the end, can you tell us if there is anything new about the health of the head of LDK, Mr. Isa Mustafa?
Arben Gashi: Mr. Mustafa has had a virus that has caused problems in extremes, hands and feet, this phase is being overcome and there is progress.
