The number of free countries in Germany has reached record numbers, as 1.2 million workers have been required in the last quarter of last year, the Institute for Employment Research in Nuremberg reported.
“At the end of last year in Germany, 1,183,000 jobs were empty, which is 128,000 jobs more than in the same period last year and 83,000 more than in the past quarter”, says Institute expert Alexander Kubis.
According to research by the Institute for Employment Research, done in collaboration with the Federal Employment Agency, the largest demand for workers is in the production and construction sector.
German construction companies are currently looking for about 100,000 workers with different profiles.
The lack of experts has been recorded in almost all sectors, especially technical ones.
