His decision came after yesterday's operation conducted by Kosovo Police in co-operation with the Kosovo Intelligence Agency for the deportation of six Turkish citizens from Kosovo to their homeland, Kosovo reports.

After Wessel has also reacted to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has expressed his confusion about the operation.

The first member of the state, Hashim Thaci, has reacted last to the AKI and Police operation.

“Kosovo is a democratic state built in accordance with the highest democratic standards, which above all else respect the individual rights of any human, regardless of ethnic affiliation, political or ideological beliefs”.

This principle, embedded in our Constitution and laws, remains indisposed by no one and is the duty of our state institutions to implement it”.

We are disappointed because our relevant institutions, for reasons that remain to be clarified to the end, have failed to protect these principles that connect with the human rights of foreign citizens living and working in our country”.

I am informed by competent bodies after the event that six citizens have infiltrated Turkey today with the reasoning that they had no permission to stay in Kosovo”.

“We now need to clarify the reasons that have led up to the penetration of these Turkish citizens to Turkey”, Thaci had written on his Facebook account.
