Britain's Prime Minister Andrsa May welcomed this show of solidarity by presenting the plan for the exclusion of Russian diplomats.
In all, the 14 states of the European Union countries have expelled 100 Russian diplomats, reports “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcast.
Australia later confirmed that it is dismissing two Russian diplomats identified as undeclared intelligence officers, citing Russia's “reckless and intentional behaviour”.
Russia's Foreign Minister, the expulsions have been named as a provocative “get”.
A Kremlin spokesman said the West has made a “error” and that Russia's President Vladimir Putin would make a final decision regarding Russia's response.
