The European Commission urged European companies and Chancellors Thursday to toughen their access to websites with terrorist and illegal content, recommending taking concrete measures, but without introducing broad EU legislation to address the issue.
Even though more and more information on many is the main source of the Internet, the European Union executive is trying to curb the spread of terrorist propaganda and illegal content sites, ranging from child pornography to consumer fraud, Pash continues.
