Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed Kosovo, in speech delivered today at the 6th Congress of the Justice and Development Party ( The AK Party is being held in the Bolu province.
Erdogan began the speech by welcoming the states he considers Turkey's friend: Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Crime, Bulgaria, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Hail my brothers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania. I send the warmest wishes to my brothers and sisters in Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Western Trade, Crimea, Bulgaria, Romania, on behalf of my nation”, Erdogan said, reports TRT Haberwrites Insander.
“We want to communicate with our brothers in Sarajevo, Skopje, Gumulcine, Cardzhali, Pristina and Mostar. I always say that our physical boundaries are less than the boundaries of our world. Half of our hearts are in Istanbul, Diyarbakir, Trabzon, Antalya and Izmir, while the other half is in Allopo, Kirkuk, Jerusalem and Buhara”, he said.
Erdogan said that “we fight for the oppressed worldwide as much as we work for our country and our nation. ”
The Turkish president also addressed sharp criticism in NATO's account, due to its inaction in relation to threats to Turkey in terms of security.
“NATO sided with Turkey regarding all developments in Syria and the region?”, he said.
