Enver Petrovci reacts to director Luan Kryeziu over Adem Jasharin film

Enver Petrovci removes is not interested, as he calls it, “the” that the world-renowned actor from Serbia, Rade Serbdzija, has sought through him to assume the role of Adam Jashar.

The director and filmwriter who is still in the initial stage of the idea, Luan Kryeziu, has confirmed this. But, actor Petrovci on Monday has told Gazeta Express that his colleague has mistaken himself for mentioning his name.

He has neither denied nor confirmed statements of Kosovo screenwriter and director. He even considers all of this to be foolish and inconsistent.

On the other hand, he has advised that no media deal with such reports.

Otherwise, on Sunday, director and screenwriter Luan Kryeziu said in a television chronice that Serbian actor Rade Serbdzija has expressed interest in playing the role of Adem Jashar in the film he is trying to create for KLACH commander and his family.

According to Kryeziu, his request has not been ignored and it is natural that he cannot accept such a proposal.

According to him, Serbian has expressed this request through Kosovo actor Enver Petrovci and says he has reasoned on his proposal, saying that if a Serb accepts Adem Yasar, then the whole world agrees.

But all other stories have published Serbian media on Monday. According to them, it was the Serb actor who has refused to play the role of legendary commander and founder of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Adem Jashar.

Rade Serbdzija is a prominent Serbian actor, but born in Croatia, into a Serb-Croatian family. Besides being an actor, he is also known as a director and musicist. He has even dedicated a song to Bekim Fehmiu, the other Albanian actor from world famous Kosovo. Fehmiu had committed suicide in 2010 in Belgrade.
