The water problem is a global problem.
Therefore, to turn global attention to the importance of water and water problems, the UN General Assembly, with its resolution in February 1993, decided that on March 22nd each year the World Water Day would be marked.
Unfortunately, many countries are facing severe water shortages and the inability to meet man's basic needs.
According to one research, by 2025 two-thirds of the world's population will be hit at large water demand. In addition, about 1.1 billion people have no access to water for drinking, while 2.5 billion people have no access to basic hygiene-health conditions. Six thousand children younger than five each day die from waterborne diseases, and more than five million people a year - ten times the number killed in all the world's annual wars. /Periscopi/
