We took over the State Police operation, finalised over the past night and during the early hours of today's morning, codenamed “One If Land”, in the framework of the smuggling of persons aimed at U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom were detained by 4 police workers.
State Police head Ardi Veliu, during the media conference, stressed that “4 state police employees, with control duties at Border Cross Points, Hani Hoti and Qafe Thani, who have abused their duty by not conducting registration of smuggled citizens at border crossing points, in opposition to Law”.
They are:
Steel MAKSUTI, 53, born of resident in Pogradec with control duty at P.K.K. They said.
Ilir ISMAILI, 32, born of residents in Pogradc, under control at P.K.K. They said.
Erjon MAXHAR, 28, born of residents in Pogradec, with control duty at P.K.K. They said.
