British Prime Minister Theresa May has welcomed the United States' decision to expel 60 Russian diplomats over the nervous agent attack on the former Russian hospital in Britain's Salisbury.
May has made these comments during a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.
The prime minister today has spoken with President Trump and welcomed the US's decision to expel 60 Russian diplomats in response to the nervous agent attack on Salibury”, May's spokesman has said.
“May has said the US has conveyed a powerful response and has welcomed mass expulsions in response to Moscow's reckless behaviour”.
Tens of governments worldwide have expelled about 150 Russian diplomats. London accuses Moscow of standing behind the attack by nervous agents against former employee Sergei Scripal and his daughter Yulia.
Moscow has repeatedly denied any involvement in this attack.
