American historian who dedicated a book to Kosovo in 1999

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Independence were invited to Kosovo and many personalities from Europe and the US were praised, but there was a name that deserved to be mentioned. American historian David Fromkin, at least for the sake of his book “Kosovo's freezing reality of American intervention in the Balkans” that was published in 1999.
Historian Fromkin (1932-2017) stands out with his background and approach to subjects he discussed in his books. He conducted law studies at the University of Chicago and became a political adviser before moving into international relations and finally in history, writes today Muhamed Mufaku in Koha Ditore.
So in 1994 he became a professor of new history at Boston University until his retirement in 2007. He became known in the US and Europe with several books of his own that are of particular value, such as “, peace that overwhelmed all peace: the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the creation of modern Middle East” (1989 and many publications later) and the last “in Europe: Who began the Great War in 1914<x3 and so forth.
