Albanian convicted of 22 years escapes prison

An Albanian sentenced to 22 years in prison, considered a drug trafficking boss, has escaped prison. Nimon Zogaj, according to Italian media, escaped from the Maggior hospital department where he was laid down. He escaped police attention by leaving the hospital where he was being treated.

After the findings, police have been placed in pursuit of the 50-year-old, who is known not only for the neighbouring country but also in some countries in the Balkans.

This is the second time that he escaped from prison, while after his arrest he was transferred to Parma, while in recent days he was transported to the hospital because of health problems but escaped.
