Albania is the only country in Europe where the number of males exceeds that of females. Telegraph has recently published the global map with the report men/women. According to map data, Albania is the only country in Europe where there are more men than women. This report in Albania was 1.04. For every 100 men in Albania, there are 96 women.

If you look at the map, the whole of Europe is painted red, which means there are many women than men, and Macedonia is painted green, having as many men as women.

According to INSTAT's latest data, worked out by Augustor, the age groups contributing to this report in Albania are new age groups, from newborns to 39. In total, by the age of 0-39, there are 51 more men than females, with a report of 1,097. The highest report is the 25-34 age group, with 1.12. For this age group, according to INSTAT data, for 224 thousand males there are 199.8 thousand females.

From 40 years of age, females begin and dominate. For age groups from 40-59, the ratio is 0.95. Women live more than men, so for older men over 80, the ratio is 0.85, where there are 38 thousand women and 32 thousand men.

There are only two circuits, according to INSTAT, where the number of women exceeds to men, who are Tirana, Shkodra and Gjirokastra. In the capital, the report is 0.98, with 10,000 females of absolute value less than men (436,917 males and 447,079 females). In Shkodra, the report is 0.97, where there are about 3,200 more women, and in Gjirokastra about 700 more women.
