In recent years, Albania has been recognising significant tourist growth, but on the other hand, it may be losing that group of tourists that for years has been the main draw.
Referring to data from the Statistics Institute during 2017, the number of entrys from Kosovo to Albania has marked a significant decline. If we analyze INSTAT's data on citizens' movements, it turns out that there is a decline over the past year has been marked by 19 %s of citizens' entry from Kosovo.
During 2016, about 2,157,013 entrances were recorded from Kosovo to Albania, and 1,745,973 inflows were recorded during 2017. Kosovo is the only country that has marked the negative balance of entrances, writes scan.tv.
Kosovo's entry continues to remain in first place on the list of 10 countries where visitors come from in Albania. In percentage, the largest increase in entry rates is in countries like Poland with 73.6 %, Germany with 47.4 %, Switzerland with 47.2 % and Italy with 36.6 %.
Statistics Institute data shows that not only during summer months but also over the next few months, Kosovo's entry has diminished.
