The demarcation bill, which is expected to take the week coming to the Kosovo Assembly, for the fourth time has not provided enough votes for ratification.
So stated AAK parliamentary group deputy Rasim Selmanaj, who has stressed the timing of holding the session depends on whether sufficient votes have been secured for ratification.
I don't think I can go long, but we can't bring the demarcation back to the session without having one more accordation of political parties and votes because for now the votes are not”, Selmanaj has said.
Meanwhile, in terms of the shift from the Foreign Affairs Commission to the document on the demarcation agreement, Selmanaj has said the order would be restored as accorded to the agreement between parties.
“Building points in the demarcation agreement from the Foreign Affairs Commission, I consider more of a technical error or lack of co-ordination. Otherwise, this document should be returned as was Prime Minister Haradinaj's proposal, where the 2015 agreement as the first point is, the second is Mr. Bulqi's report and the statement of two presidents”, he has said.
Furthermore, Selmanaj added that listing these points in this document should be how it was agreed to by political parties because the only difference that has occurred is in the word “as orientation”.
I personally didn't agree to adopt that word because it's unnecessary and it doesn't play any big role. But since there has been agreement among political parties then it must be returned under the” agreement, Selmanaj has said.
