Interior Affairs Minister Flamur Sefaj has said that following the release of fines and accidents from police for the month of February, it has resulted in half smaller numbers than last month's February.
Sefaj through a writing has stressed that punishment is not the primary goal of institutions. According to him, however, they are aiming to reduce traffic accidents.

Kosovo police have issued the balance of fines and accidents for February of this year, and police statistics reveal that the number of fatal accidents is about 50% smaller than in the same month of the preliminary year.
Although punishment is not the primary goal of the rule institutions, the legal penalties Kosovo Police are taking are aimed at reducing traffic accidents, because reportedly the number of victims from road traffic accidents continues to remain disturbing.
