On March 28th 1999, Serbian forces murdered and brutally slaughtered 147 Albanians in Izbica in Sqaheraj.
Izbica's massacre also takes place in the U.S. Department report. At that time, satellite photos that clearly feature 147 new cemeteries were also published in Izbica.
After the massacre, the bodies of those killed are buried in the village of Izbica, but Serb forces exhumed the corpses by sending them to different locations in Kosovo and Serbia.
