Statement for demarcation makes judicial obligation for Montenegro

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has sufficed a “Joint Declaration” with Montenegro to justify the big shift in the cause over demarcation. For nearly three years as in opposition, Haradinaj opposed any initiative for annexing- Agreement by insisting only on the collapse of the official version, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

But members of the State Commission, who have elected Haradinaj himself, differ. To argue his cause that Kosovo loses thousands of hectares of land with its current version, Haradinaj has not rarely quoted international law professor Zejrullah Gruda.

But, unlike Haradinaj, who gave support to “The joint statement”, Gruda has called it a fraud. According to him, the agreement cannot be ratified on terms.

The “those who speak of the Kosovo-Montenegro border demarcation agreement are frauds who hide that with Montenegro they have set new limits and have not made demarcation. And that's what the people must say” said, Gruda, who in a pronomination for “Kahre Ditore” legally interpreted “Joint Declaration”.

According to him, the most important doctrine of ratification consists of its disrepute character.
