Slovenia's president, Borut Pahor, has countered Serbia's leaders, following the criticism he received from them, for his statements about Kosovo.
The Slovenian leader has said that his country and Serbia have different views of Kosovo.
“Kosovo is one of the major political issues Slovenia and Serbia have markedly different views of”, Pahor said on Wednesday, according to Slovenian news agency STA.
Days earlier, Pahor has declared that Slovenia will commit to ensuring recognition of Kosovo by European Union states that have done so yet.
His statement, made after an official visit to Pristina, has caused great anger in Belgrade.
