In the action called “Albatros”, which has been held in Bosnia and Herzegovina since early morning hours, 16 people have been arrested, suspected of smuggling from Bosnia to the territory of Croatia and then to EU countries a large number of Serbian citizens from Kosovo, who do not have valid travel documents.
Those under investigation in this case are charged with the criminal act of organising a group for committing the criminal act of “smuggling migrants”, the papero.net follows.
At the same time, in the area of these cantons, BiH Service for Foreign Affairs officials conducted control of eight items believed to be used for the housing of illegal immigrants.
The move was conducted at the prosecutor's orders by the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, and dozens of policemen from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) have participated.
