Nenad Canak, a prominent politician in Serbia and president of the Social Democrat League of Vojvodina, has declared that soon there may be unrest in the north.
According to Canak, these riots would go in favour of Russian President Vladimir Putin's administration, because it would lead to strengthening the extremist pro-Russian forces in Serbia.
Security experts in Kosovo estimate that these Canak findings should be taken very seriously from Kosovo, because he is an old politician in Serbia, who according to them has information even from secret services.
Security expert Nuredin Ibishi stresses that these riots have been warned earlier. And Fatmir Sheholli also emphasises the fact that these statements are signals which Kosovo institutions must warn.
Harjullah Trnava stresses that these statements are very disturbing and take as an example two recent cases the murder of Oliver Ivanovic and the attack on the American Embassy in Montenegro.
And on the other hand, state institutions have chosen to remain silent against these threats.
