Kosovo's former Serbian Assembly President Rada Trajkovovic has said the international community is making a precedent because all the administrative borders of the former Yugoslavia have been turned into borders of newly formed states.
“Kuzi with Montenegro and Macedonia is actually Serbia's state border with these states, and this is the level at which the demarcation must be agreed upon and made”, Trajkovic warns, in an interview for Serbian media.
Regarding the warning that the Serbian List will vote in the Kosovo Assembly for demarcation of the border with Montenegro, Trajkovic told JUGpress that Serbia's “List with their participation, and if they vote for demarcation, it actually legalises Kosovo's borders as internationally recognised borders. Because these agreements are ratified in the United Nations, NATO and other international institutions, for which Serbia will have to decide whether, when and how Kosovo will be able, to present itself, without an agreement with Belgrade”, Telegrafi submits.
She believes that in such a decision it is crucial to the position of state leadership in Belgrade and the Serbian state, “, while the Serbian List stipulates the most direct violation of the Constitution and, with this, directly compromises the mood of Kosovo Serbs. Because, almost none of the Serbs have given them the mandate to define Kosovo's borders as state”, Trajkovic said.
In the conclusion that in Serbian opinion and media no one discusses the demarcation of the border between Kosovo and Montenegro, Trajkovic says that “for all already is clear that from the Brussels agreement, since the start of the talks, the media have completely closed for opinions contrary to Kosovo”.
The “Public is offered what corresponds to negotiators and Brussels, while the media and opinion are completely excluded from what is signed there. This is what will eventually lead to something I think will be a major regional problem. Opinion, Albanian and Serbian, is not informed with ratifications, is unaware of the agreements, there is no active approach, no accession or rejection. It creates in the opinion that final result, which will cause a friend, and with that both instability “, Trajkovic said
