“Serbian List” explains position around demarcation

The Serbian List has not yet decided what its deputies' position in the Kosovo Assembly will be if the agreement on marking the border line with Montenegro is brought to the legislature to be ratified. Igor Sibiu, Serbian List MP in the Kosovo Assembly and spokesperson for this subject, says [...]
Igor Sibiu, deputy of the Serbian List in the Kosovo Assembly and spokesman of this subject, says the issue of ratification of this agreement does not represent any priority for this parliamentary political subject, which is part of the ruling coalition.
So far, according to him, there has been no consultation with other subjects, who are partners in the ruling coalition.
I couldn't give you, at this moment, clarification on this matter. The demarcation as a matter is not in the top priority when it comes to the work of Serbian deputies in the Kosovo Assembly. When it comes to obligations, which Kosovo has received in relation to the international community, for us the priority is the formation of the Serb majority municipal community. We haven't even talked to coalition partners in the past period. But, we know that within the political Corps of Albanian representatives, not only between opposition and power, but also within the power, there are various opinions”, says Sym enemies.
He adds that regardless of the Serb List forming the Association or Community of Serb Majority, it is the culmination of the priorities of this subject, however, it will in no way link the issue of ratification of the Agreement on Demarcation with Montenegro and the votes of this subject for or against this ratification.
We won't trade like that. When we entered the formation of this government, we have clearly presented the position that we will not blackmail anyone. We will fight for the interests of Serbs, but we will not blackmail anyone. The formation of the Serb community of municipalities is Kosovo's international duty and we are here to commemorate this and try to make it come into order as soon as possible. We will not allow this to be part of the trade, the demarcation of the Serb or similar municipal community”, Siove points out.
According to him, the Serbian List will make clear its decision regarding the vote for or against ratification of the Demarket Agreement with Montenegro, when this issue will be put into agenda in the Kosovo Assembly.
Let's not talk in advance, because that goes down to the specs level. When he comes to the Assembly, the Serbian List will clearly express its” position, Siove says.
For ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro, which is an international agreement for Kosovo, two-thirds of the votes of Kosovo Assembly deputies, which have 120 seats, are needed.
The next week could be crucial for Kosovo, if it manages to make the deadline for involvement in the European agenda by ratifying the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro as the European Union's latest criterion for abolishing visas.
