International Law Professor from Serbia Tibor Varadi, who legalises at various world universities, has said Kosovo is currently not part of Serbia, but has stressed that it is good that partitioning Kosovo is currently on the table.
I personally think and have said many times that Kosovo's secession occurred contrary to international law, so I think that the secession was not legal, but I think Kosovo is actually not part of Serbia” Varadi said.
Commenting on the ideas about the division of Kosovo, which according to Serbian media has even mentioned the Austrian subcancellar, Varadi has said well that such an idea is on the table, even though it cannot be said to be located specifically at the negotiating table. Varad said that separation could be achieved more easily 10 to 15 years ago.
I just remembered Dobrica Cosic had such an idea, but that's just the point then it wasn't at the negotiating table, maybe someone wanted to connect it to Presevo's exchange. I generally don't think it's a chance to happen, but it's good to keep all the options on the table” Varad said.
