Pristina-Gylan highway, weeks issue

Construction of the Pristina highway '%Dilan is expected to begin within weeks. So said the Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj during the meeting he held with Gjilan chairman Lutfi Haziri.

A series of agreements for the construction of several urban and rural roads, including the Pristina-Gylan highway, have been signed during this visit.

Minister Lekaj has declared that, even though there have been objections to the Pristina highway, Gjylan, construction works are expected to begin within weeks. According to him, this auto has a positive effect on economic development, and it facilitates the movement of citizens.

I thank the mayor of the municipality, but even all citizens of this area who have been insist that this project be developed and reality and we will begin the work within weeks and I think that this side will no longer have problems with free movement, corridors, corridors and especially these roads have a positive impact on economic development”, he said, the KP reports.

Lekaj has also presented several infrastructure projects that will have a positive impact on the life of the gentiles, amounting to 1 million and 280 thousand euros. He has also stated that they will invest in projects that have been in the procedure, such as building the Zgrovci Road, which totals 1m and 300 thousand euros.

“Perlepnica costs 520 thousand euros, is Germica 450 thousand euros, it's the lane on the route of Prustina -- 200 thousand euros -- is the Ahmetiız Street, 110 thousand euros that total value in these local projects is 1m and 280 thousand euros. The continuation of the project that has been under procedure and 1m 300m euros are under way and you have Zegovc's Verbica... Lekaj argued that very soon the procedures will be completed to take advantage of the contract with the BERZH, which totals 8.5m euros.

While, Gjilan municipality chairman Lufi Haziri said the agreements signed today are infrastructure projects for building roads in the villages and town of Gjilan. He, as part of these joint plans, singled out construction of the Pristina-Gylan highway, which connects Gjilan to the nation's corridor.

“The signing of co-operation agreements culminates with the public investment programme in Gjilan. We highlighted the main major project the minister signed the contract several days ago, which is expected these weeks when the minister appoints the start of Gjilan highway work, which links Anamorawa and Gjilan with the corridor of the nation and the corridor of soil, of course. We remember that days ago, Minister Lekaj has signed the agreement on the construction of the Pristina-Gylan highway, which will cost 88m euros and will be 22.3km long.
