The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has arrived in Pyongchang, South Korea, where the opening of the Winter Olympic Games is taking place.
At the invitation of International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, President Thaci is participating in the official opening of the Winter Olympic Games.
During its participation in the Olympic Games, President Thaci will visit the Olympic village, where the Kosovo Olympic team is located, giving support to skier Albin Tahiri, who represents our state in this Olympics.
President Thaci will also hold meetings with senior representatives of the participating states in this Olympics.
In the Olympics in Pyongchang, South Korea, more than 20 statesmen are participating, as well as many heads and state representatives from around the world.
