Police official convicted of auto-school instructor threat

The accused Hamdi Trpeza has been sentenced to eight months in prison on charges of misuse of official office, said court head Valbona Selimi.

The tereza is also obliged to pay procedural expenses worth 50 euros in the name of the court inquiry.

Police official was charged with exploiting the official person's quality, exploiting the official position, in order for his brother, Artan Trèza, to benefit the other person in the way that in the quality of the employee's civil staff of the Directorate of Police Logistics of the Republic of Kosovo, he will give the driver's license exam for the “ <x>>B” category, without at all being subjected to a theoretical and practical exam.

On the basis of the indictment, next morning Hamdi Trèza went to the Bus station with the official vehicle and after meeting instructor Kasim Hoxha without even presenting himself, he asked: “A performed the test”, while when the victim denied it, he grabbed it by the arm and said: <x204 with me to the official car”. Similarly, the prosecution claims that Artan Trpezza has refused to accept and to submit to the driver's license test as other candidates, claiming at any cost that only the injured should complete the test and pass the test.

The accused had declared himself innocent of charges.
