The 24-year-old who did not show anything of his ability was replaced in the 66th minute and, instead, joined by veteran Michael Carrick.
The Frenchman sat in the reserve bank and his face said everything about what he was going through, it seemed as if he could barely hold back his tears of anger and despair.

All of this was eventually commented by fans on social networks, part of them supported the Special One's decision to replace it because Pogba is showing nothing in the field in recent matches. The rest, however, felt that he must stay in the field because he needs only a little to change the course of the meeting.
The match ended with a score of 1-0 in the best of Newcastle, and now Man Utd is 16 points from Manchester City ranking first.
At the end of the match, Pogba's replacement was explained by Mourinho, initially suspected that the player was injured but that it was then rejected by Portuguese.
“No problems. I wanted another approach to a team that was being protected in a compact manner. I wanted to test Carrick's simplicity, because he does everything simple and brings Sanchezin closer to Luke as the second attacker, where we could win the”, Mourino said, explaining that Pogbas' replacement was tactical.
The Frenchman was purchased in the summer of 2016 by Juventu for 2015m euros.
