Kosovo has good relations with neighbouring countries, Minister Hoxha has stressed in an interview for the Austrian Agency, The APA, until it has added that Serbia refuses to recognise Kosovo's independence, is clear that the dialogue agreement cannot continue indefinitely, adding that Kosovo's goal is full mutual recognition and normalisation of relations.
While she notes that for Serbia, too, this is a precondition for EU membership and that neither state wants to prevent each other's EU accession.
Minister Hoxha, among other things, has said the plan for 2018 is to advance reforms in rule of law, economy, competitiveness and education.
“in five EU member states (Greece, Spain, Romania, Slovakia and Cyprus), which have not yet recognised Kosovo, see no obstacle because Kosovo maintains pragmatic relations with them.
She has added that soon parliament will decide on the border agreement with Montenegro.
“I hope the vote is positive, so Kosovars will not be the only isolated citizens in Europe”, Hoxha said.
According to her, currently Kosovars are the only Europeans to be equipped with visas to enter the EU. /Kosovo pres/
