The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development through a communique for the media has announced that Minister Nenad Ricalo has waited at a meeting for USAID Kosovo director James Hope, with whom they have talked about continuing co-operation in the agriculture sector, through investments in new projects.
Ricalo announced it with the rural development ministry's programme.
He said this ongoing programme has brought results, and thanks to investments in agriculture, economic growth in the country, new jobs and increased local production.
According to the communiqué, Rikalo has also spoken about priorities for this year, where he re-focused that he will give a top priority in implementing support programmes for farmers and agribusinesses.
He rated high U projectsAID, which according to it is affecting development and strengthening the agriculture sector in the country.
On the other hand, the director USAID, James Hope, praised the ministry's commitment to supporting farmers and greatly appreciated their co-operation as two institutions. Hope said USAID support will continue through various agricultural projects.
The director of the Economic Development Office, Brian Mastalus and Besa Ilazi, USAID project management specialist, attended the meeting.
