KMDLNj seeks unconditional agreement on demarcation

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has reacted to demarcation with Montenegro, saying Kosovo Assembly deputies should assume responsibility and determine whether to ratify the demarcation agreement, on the contrary the country must go to new elections and [...]
According to KMDLNj, it says that unless unconditional compliance is reached with the ratification of demarcation, then it makes no sense to call in extraordinary sessions where one single point of the day, such as ratification of demarcation, would be voted on.
“If you continue with this marathon of political and nonpolitical calculations and which, on pretext, have demarcation , citizens should be organised and reject this irresponsible act of Kosovo MPs and political parties”, the KMDLNY response reported.

On February 22nd 2018 failed to hold the extraordinary session, which had a single starting point of the agenda; ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro. The session was called after reaching a stated agreement among political subjects for voting this agreement, which did not turn out to be so. It seems that political subjects have no political will to vote for ratification of demarcation, and they are using this issue for party and political purposes. Otherwise, how can the condition being made to MPs be understood even when it comes to an approach providing votes for ratification of demarcation? Ratification of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro, which was signed by Hashim Thaci, prime minister and Skender Hyseni , the minister of internal affairs in 2015, was completely nontransparent and therefore sparked many doubts, especially the opposition, but also a «part of the opposition, which was subjected to violence against institutions and individuals that ended with the government's collapse, Mustafa. Now, Kosovo has entered a “magic circuit “where there is no positive movement but that it continues with conditioning. That the Serbian List conditions the vote with the formation of the Association of Serbian municipalities, and that the Constitution has proved 24 cases of violation of the Constitution, is very clear, both the content and the goal. For KMDLNj, it is inconsistent that MPs who make up the absolute majority in the Assembly (Albanians) and deputies of minorities that are very constructive , cannot find common language in the defence of civic and state interest. It is very certain that after the agreement signed between Kosovo and Montenegro in 2015, anyone who wants to be in power in Kosovo will fail to ignore this agreement and will be forced to sign that agreement. Therefore, any attempt to undo this agreement represents a waste of time and additional isolation of Kosovo. KMDLNj does not expect and does not believe that with the ratification of this agreement, with automatism visas for Kosovo citizens will be removed, at least not within this year (December 2018 would be a very optimistic date if it happens ) . Kosovo Assembly MPs must assume responsibility and determine, without wasting time on whether to ratify the demarcation agreement. Instead, the country must go to new and unnecessary elections. For demarcation or confirmation or rejection of commission assessments, several national and international commissions have been formed, as well as numerous meetings and conferences have been held so KMDLNj proposes, as compromise, the introduction of all these appreciative documents in the package to vote for ratification of the demarcation agreement. It is meaningless and unacceptable conditioning with the favour or elimination of a commission or other that has been formed by the government, if they want to complete this prolonged and tiring process. To gain credibility, the annex signed between the presidents of Kosovo and Montenegro has had to be introduced a point where it is explicitly said that ; “if even after the possible mistakes of the agreement signed in 2015 there would be disagreements, then the case is sent to the Court of Arbitrazhi, whose decisions would be irrefutable and binding for both states ...”. With the failure of borders to be accepted internationally, Kosovo risks remaining without borders, an undefinated territory that would be much greater damage than the loss of visas.
If unconditional compliance is not achieved with the ratification of the KMDLNI demarcation, it does not make sense to do otherwise, then it makes no sense to call off extraordinary sessions where one single point of the day, such as ratification of the demarcation. If it continues with this marathon of political and nonpolitical calculations, which on the pretext of demarcation, citizens should be organised and reject this irresponsible act of Kosovo deputies and political parties.
