“As far as salary hikes are concerned, the board has indicated that this growth has costs and impacts the KEK financial situation. However, it is stressed that there will be an increase. However, to accomplish this, it is necessary after rationalising operational spending, always without violating maintenance and capital investments”, the announcement says.
“On this line, the Board has once again reconfirmed that in principle it is to move processes forward. As a result, the management requested revision of the current budget plan and the identification of concrete rationalisation possibilities. Moreover, the Board is awaiting the annual performance report and independent financial audit report on financial mirrors at the end (2017) for a clearer financial mirror”, further said in response.
Kosovo's New Energy Corporation Union has protested yesterday in Pristina with a salary raise request for KEK workers. Through this protest it has been required that KEK workers' pay be raised linearly from 100 euros, which has also been the promise of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
