While Rita Ora covered thousands of Kosovars as part of independence celebrations, a poster in Kosovo's main government's districts featured hundreds of young people who had not been seen since about 20 years, believed to have been kidnapped by Serb security forces.

Mothers of those who had disappeared during Kosovo's war for independence had attached the poster to an appropriate metaphor for this country's evolutionary country in the world on the 10th anniversary of its independence being cleansed, eager to be accepted by the West, but still troubled by the legacy of conflict and ethnic division, writes Al Jazeera.

The United States and the European Union insist that Pristina face war crimes tribunal: Special rooms.

Kosovo today has the highest economic growth in the Balkan region, and is projected to reach 4.8 per cent this year, and has successfully adopted the euro.

Youth unemployment remains a constant problem, which exists at close to 60 per cent of the country where half of the population is made up of people under 25 years.

Arab media, Al Jazeera, discussed these problems with influential personalities in Kosovo, with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Prime Minister Kadri Veselini, and US Ambassador Greg Delawie respectively.

Haradinaj has said that if European nations keep one of their regions weak, they keep themselves that way.

“Every European nation loses money... keeping Serbia and Kosovo undefined. This is harmful to each European nation because if they keep one of their regions weak, they keep themselves weak. We've lost a lot of time, two decades since the war, and this is in Europe. All those investments; military, political, financial. It is very irrational to remain unfinished work”, Haradinaj said, writes Al Jazeera.

We worry, but it's also our potential”, he's gone by referring to unemployed youth.

The new subx0-pollata has an entrepreneurial soul, and they are really prepared to face what the economic market can offer. Our job is to present an offer, a job offer for every citizen in our country, for every entrepreneur in our country, but also for foreign investors. This starts with rule of law and fighting corruption”.

Kosovo has also been spoken of by United States Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delawi, who has said that for a 10-year-old state, Kosovo is not doing any wrong.

For a 10-year-old state, it's not going wrong. There is a contemporary constitution, modern European laws, has the highest economic growth in the region, one of the highest in Europe”, Delawi has said.

What happens in the future depends greatly on Kosovo leaders. They should focus more on things like rule of law, deal with the unemployment rate, and have better reports with neighbouring countries Serbia, Montenegro”.

“The rule of law is a defining challenge for Kosovo, and will determine the success of a country that moves forward”.

Delaway didn't miss out on the Special Court, which he sees as an element of rule of law.

“Special Chambers are an element of rule of law, it is important to bring justice to the victims, of all ethnicities, from Kosovo's efforts to release around 1999”.

No one is questioning, at least not from the United States of America, the difficulty of liberation. But it is impossible to eliminate the fact that some war crimes have been committed, and with those war crimes we have to face”.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Kadri Veselini has said it is in Kosovo's interest to pass through the Special Court in order to remove doubts about Kosovo's freedom.

We respect [special rooms]. We will go through that process because it is in Kosovo's interests to remove any doubt about our freedom”, Wessel has said.

We are the only state in the former Yugoslavia to create such a kind of Special Chamber. Many people are disappointed because there are many mass graveyards here in Kosovo that were created by the Serbian aggressor, and no one was held responsible for this”.

“Here in the Balkans, we have that kind of discontent always. Why is this only happening to us, but at the same time, we are very reasonable about it, we are proud of our fight”.

Meanwhile Bajram Hajrizi, the survivor of Recak's Massacre, in which he had lost his brother, is still unemployed, although he has been magicised for history. Speaking of the murdered brother, he says the government has neglected this village since the war.

It's really hard to think about what happened. He was only 18 years old and killed here. My father hasn't come to this place since 1999. We have land nearby where we used to cut trees to warm during the winter, but he has never returned because of what had happened to his son”, Hayriz said.

If we consider Recak's contribution to the state of Kosovo, I think the government has not repaid that sacrifice. We have a lot of young people who are equipped with university degrees, but they're unemployed”.

The economic development has stalled. In our village, we built everything ourselves. In every village house, there is one person who has migrated and provides income for the family. I think we've been overlooked by the government in Pristina”.

For the independence of Kosovo is also happy Nysrete Kumnova, part of “the calls of mothers” who are looking for their loved ones, but says they won't be able to celebrate until they know where their loved ones are buried.

“We are happy for Kosovo's independence, but we can only celebrate it when we know where our loved ones are buried”.

Meanwhile, Silvana Markovic, a Serb who in the Al Jazeera article, writes that her husband had been kidnapped by the Kosovo Liberation Army, says it is important for her entire family to find the truth.

For our whole family, the most important thing is to find the truth. The hardest thing to do is live in uncertainty. We've been living with this for almost 20 years,”, Marinkovic said.

If they wanted to do something about it, they could have done it a long time ago. Earlier, the police and the United Nations had evidence that they were still fresh but wanted to hide the truth. That's why I don't trust this special court”
