Iraq requires about $100 billion foreign investment in transport, energy and agriculture, under the plan to rebuild parts of the state and revive the post-year economy with the militant group, the Islamic State.
According to Reuters news agency, the National Investment Commission has published a list of 157 projects for which it will seek investment at the International Conference for Reconstruction of Iraq.
This conference will be held in Kuwait from 12 February to 14 February.
In some projects reconstruction of pieces destroyed such as Mosul Airport, while others are focused on strengthening the economy, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abad's economics adviser, said.
“All together amount to $100 billion”, adviser Mudhar Saleh told Reuters news agency.
Reconstruction of homes, hospitals, schools, roads, businesses and telecoms are key to providing work for young people.
Thus the prevention of the deportations of hundreds of thousands of people from their homes is targeted.
Iraq has declared victory over the militant group, the Islamic State in December last year, managing to control the entire territory occupied by militants in 2014 and 2015.
An American official in Baghdad has said 100 American companies will participate in the conference.
