Institutions implemented only 59 of 173 ombudsman recommendations

Of the 173 recommendations the Ombudsman addressed in 2016 to local and central institutions, 59 recommendations or 34 percent have been implemented, 29 recommendations or 17 percent have not been implemented, and 85 recommendations or 49 percent remain pending for implementation. The data has revealed to the ombudsman on Monday, Hilmi Jashar, at the table organised by the Commission for Human Rights, Gender Equality, for the Invisible Persons and Petition, where it has been discussed in the application of the ombudsman's recommendations, on the part of local and central institutions for 2016, writes today <x0 Ditore<18x>
Much of the failure to implement recommendations, according to the Ombudsman, has occurred in the judicial system and public administration, including the local and central level.
As for non-compliance of recommendations at the local level, Jashari has said that this is due to the failure to reform that the institutions of this level have these recommendations.
