Prime Minister Haradinaj has said that Kosovo's European integration path is alternate, and for that the Government of Kosovo is constantly working and with full dedication to meeting all criteria set by the European Union, so that Kosovo citizens can also move freely.
The prime minister made these statements during his meeting with a European Union delegation, headed by European Commission Director for Neighborship and Negotia for Enlargement Christian Danielsson, and Director of Management for Europe and Central Asia at the European Ministry for Foreign Affairs (EEAS), Thomas Mayr-Hhring, with whom he talked about the political situation in the country, the path of European integration and the European perspective of Kosovo.
At the joint conference after the meeting, Prime Minister Haradinaj said the main theme of the meeting was Kosovo's European perspective, implementation of the European agenda for Kosovo and Kosovo's goals on this road.
“The strategy for the Western Balkans has left the way open for Kosovo and defined this road, but we have much work left to do”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
EU representatives, Directors Danielsson, and Mayr-Harving also dedicated special emphasis to the Strategy for the Western Balkans, which includes Kosovo. Both EU representatives stressed that this visit takes place after a week of publishing the Strategy for the Western Balkans, which clarifys the European perspective for the entire Western Balkans, including Kosovo.
