Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has provided an interview for the BBC. This is posted on the program page, with a duration of 2 minutes and 39 seconds.
Asked by the journalist whether he is willing to exchange territories with Serbia, Haradinaj has initially been unclear in his response. But, the journalist has then insisted, naming the Serb president Vuqiq as the most willing leader Serbia has had so far to reach compromise on the Kosovo issue.
However, here Haradinaj has shown a category by saying that tragedy in the Balkans has just occurred the cause of borders, and peace should be the cause of people, not the cause of borders. ”
Kosovo's prime minister has added further that his Parliament is willing to forgive Serbia, but not forget what this country has done. However, it is obliged to negotiate with Serbia. ”
Finally, Serbian President Vuqiq has issued a statement that has caused a lot of controversy in Serbia: “We have to think about Serbia's children, not Serbia's first”. The same statement refers to journalist Stephen Sackur to build his question.
But Haradinaj has been flatly against this idea by demanding final recognition of Kosovo by Serbia.
