In September 2013, in the arena prior to a nightclub (sex club) at the local Lätti of Bern Canton, an Albanian from Macedonia had stabbed two other men, one of whom (Albanian from Kosovo) had died as a result of his injuries.
Sherry among them had started inside the mentioned bar. Macedonia's citizen had spent part of his time with a woman with whom he had emotional ties, writes Sda.ch. But in the meantime he faced the situation when the woman in question approached a Kosovo and a quarrel arose among men.
Meanwhile, they split up and Kosovar and his two Swiss colleagues drove away from the scene, while Macedonia's Albanian continued to stand in front of the club, broadcasts albinfo.ch. Soon, though, the three fugitives decided to return.
One of the Swiss men addressed the mention, accusing him of being at the bar while a chain of his neck had been broken. But the citizen of Macedonia stabbed him in the shoulder, causing him injuries. Meanwhile, Kosovo also stepped out of the car, demanding confrontation with the assailant, broadcasts albinfo.ch. He hit him so hard that Kosovar died a few hours later.
Macedonia's Albanian was sentenced by the Bern Supreme Court (Cantonal) to eight years and nine months in prison for deliberate murder and attempted serious injury. He had complained to the Federal Court as the highest degree of trial in the country, but the latter in its court ruling published today has proved the judgment that Bern's Supreme Court had made fair.
The convict in his complaint had stressed that the murder occurred in self-defense and that the principle of the prosecution was violated in his case. But since his claim had not been argued enough, the Federal Court has considered the complaint only partially.
