EU's Inspective Strategy for Kosovo

In this document Kosovo is treated differently from other countries in the region, and this is not only related to the asterisc attached to the name of this state and introduced neutral language commentary in relation to status. Its concrete name is cited in the conditions for Serbia's advancement towards EU integration and the need to co-operate with the Special Chambers, the official appointment for the Special Court, which state leaders recently wanted to tear down but gave up after international pressure. For other countries, phases are highlighted on the path to integration, such as <x0 Membership>”, “the use of membership negotiations” and “candidate status reference”. For Kosovo the term “advancing on the European road” has been chosen, but under the “condition if circumstances allow”.
The EU has put countries of the region into four cars: the first in Montenegro and Serbia, for which the expectation is expressed that they can be fully joined by 2015; the second, Albania and Macedonia, which have not been given concrete deadlines for when they can be integrated; but have been allowed this year's prospect of obtaining candidate status; in the third Bosnia and Herzegovina, without time orientation, but with the possibility of becoming a candidate country or a member; in the fourth, and the last is Kosovo, which the European perspective is left not to work for Pristina, but the <x>, which does not apply to the five EU member states, not to be included in Spain.
